Also heard great things about The Fountainhead. I have never been interested in fiction, but after reading Andy Andrews and seeing how powerfully you can teach via stories I need to try out a few others. Thanks for the tip! I'm also a huge Zac Bissonnette fan (Debt Free U and How To Be Richer, Smarter, and Better Looking Than Your Parents) and I would recommend ALL financial coaches read them (great resources for blogposts in the back too). Here's one recommendation that might throw you: Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead". It's about an architect that doesn't compromise his artistic and personal vision or conform to the traditional way of designing buildings. I don't really want to be the worst at it... but I see what you're saying. It's okay to make mistakes. By doing so, we learn and get better. It takes a huge leap of faith to try <em>anything</em> new, whether it's a recipe, crochet stitch, or giving a speech. I think it's our innate urge to protect ourselves, so we avoid the unknown.
