If you’re out sightseeing at Pikes Peak, there’s a good chance you might run into Justin Lukasavige. He may be hiking with his wife Christine, scouting trails with some buddies, or out on one of his frequent solo hikes to clear his head and develop business ideas.
Justin might look like any other hiker out enjoying their vacation, but he’s very, very different.
You see, Justin isn’t on vacation. This is his life. He lives in a small town in the Colorado Rockies, runs a business out of his home, and can spend just about as much time as he wants quenching his passion for mountaineering.
But Justin’s life wasn’t always this free.
In the not too distant past Justin was a commercial airline pilot. He was good at his job and enjoyed flying, but while he was out crisscrossing the country for work, his family was living their own lives back home. With three kids there was always something to see the kids participating in, and Justin was tired of missing out.
He always dreamed of another life where he would be free to attend every event his kids were in. He wanted to be able to pick his kids up from school and spend time with his wife.
In 2006, he decided to do something about it.
He was passionate about personal finance and decided it would be awesome if he could help other people succeed with money. So he took some classes to take his skills to the next level and opened the doors to Lukas Coaching. Within 18 months he was able to quit his airline job and become a full time entrepreneur.
He grew the business quickly (with the help of mentors and coaches), and other business owners and coaches began to take notice. He soon started helping people do business better by using the power of their own stories.
As Justin’s business grew he worked online with people all over the country. Without the need for a physical office anymore, he and his wife Christine moved the family out to the Rockies of Colorado where they could spend more time outdoors.
These days Justin is living the lifestyle business dream with his family. He does work that he’s passionate about and great at and truly makes a difference in people’s lives. He’s able to spend time in the wild mountaineering several days a week and is still able to provide a comfortable living for his family.
All of this because Justin refused to settle for normal. He wasn’t going to accept that he could only go to some of his kids’ events and only go climbing on vacation.
With the right vision and the right support, you can make your lifestyle business dream a reality as well.
